Founded This boys' school was founded in 1942 along with Laboure High School at 5421 Thekla Avenue.
Location in 1947 North Side moved to 4275 Clarence Avenue and was renamed the DeAndreis School after an early St. Louis Catholic educator, Rev. Felix De Andreis.  In 1952 Both the De Andreis and the Laboure schools became co-educational and remained so until 1965 when they reverted to their former singular status.
